  • Administering the Group Competency-Based Career Development System, At-Tamayuz Program, for all managers. The system includes Personal Competencies Assessment using Management Assessment Centers; applying MCI Management Standards at Supervisory, Managerial and Executive levels; Knowledge and Skills Assessment; Job Evaluation (Hay); and Broad Banding. I had full responsibility of administering promotion and salary increase of all Savola managers.

  • Developed Savola Oracle Human Resources Development Systems, which includes all managers' performance related data.

  • Full responsibility for administering the Performance Management System and Bonus calculation.

  • Developed a web-based Performance Management System, The Big Rocks System, which is based on the concepts of: Balanced Score Card, Management by Objectives, Steven Covey's First Things First, and Web enabled communication system.

  • Developing and implementing the Corporate Balanced Score Card using Oracle BSC.

  • Leading Aligning Action to Strategy and Linking Rewards to Performance initiatives.

  • Head of the development them of “Athabasca University Strategic Management System”.  The System served as management flight simulator and was the first actual application of System Dynamics methodology in the area of education management.  It employed the state-of-the-art system dynamics software “Stella” and behavioral modeling techniques to simulate business policy.  The system is updated and used on a constant basis to simulate management policy scenarios and to support the strategic decision making process.

  • Directed a project for the development of a multi-media computerized educational courseware in the area of business statistics.  The project was funded by Alberta Heritage Fund and was developed on both Macintosh and IBM-PC platforms using Authorware Professional and interactive video.
